Build with the material that outlasts steel and concrete
We design, engineer, and build glulam bridges and mass timber structures, shop-assembled and load-tested before they ship, engineered to a century-plus design life.
Built in Oregon. Delivered anywhere in the USA
The United States is experiencing a mass timber renaissance, driven by sustainability goals, state-level wood-first policies, and a growing engineering consensus that mass timber is a viable, high-performance structural material. TRS has been ahead of that curve for two decades.
Our primary fabrication and assembly facility in Jefferson, Oregon is purpose-built for large-scale timber structure production. Whether your project is in the Pacific Northwest, the Southeast, or anywhere in between, your structure is built in Jefferson, tested in Jefferson, and delivered ready to install.
What we build in the US
- Domestic fabrication with direct logistics to all US regions
- Full pre-assembly and load testing before delivery
- Climate-controlled production environment
- No international shipping timelines or customs complications
New timber structure services for the United States
From county bridge programs to commercial and institutional buildings, US owners are choosing mass timber for its speed, carbon performance, and century-plus life, built domestically and shipped from our Jefferson, Oregon facility.
County & Forest Service road bridges
Timber bridges designed to AASHTO and FHWA standards for county road and USDA Forest Service applications, cost-effective, low-maintenance, and built to outlast concrete alternatives by decades.
Pedestrian & trail bridges
Parks, greenways, national and state parks, and trail networks, pedestrian timber bridges that fit the natural character of their settings and perform for 100 years with minimal maintenance.
Commercial & institutional buildings
Country clubs, recreation centers, pavilions, amphitheaters, and commercial timber structures. The US mass timber market is growing, and we bring a quality management system most mass timber contractors cannot match.
Historic replacement structures
For historic bridges and buildings where the original cannot be saved, we build replacement structures that honor the original character in timber while meeting contemporary structural and code requirements.
New timber structures built for US clients
“The Nest” at Robinson Preserve
Manatee County recreational pavilion
A custom recreational pavilion shaped as a bird’s nest. New glulam beams sourced from Southeastern US suppliers, fabricated to match the existing species and profile, installed using mortise and tenon joinery, a new build indistinguishable from the original from the outside.
Dunwoody Country Club
Roof truss restoration
After a newly renovated men’s lounge, inspection revealed the roof truss system and supporting members were failing. TRS restored the full roof structure, preventing roughly $1,000,000 in replacement costs and preserving the renovated interior below.
Engineered to the standards your reviewers expect
Our US work is specified to AASHTO LRFD and AREMA bridge standards, NDS and AITC timber design, ASTM D07 material standards, and AWPA preservation, documented for state and county DOTs, the USDA Forest Service, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
