When it's built right, wood outlasts

Lighter, longer-lived, lower-carbon, and more cost-effective than the steel or concrete alternative, when the workmanship is right. A concrete bridge lasts 50–70 years; a properly built and maintained timber bridge lasts far longer. The problem was never the material. It was the workmanship, and the reputation poor methods gave a material that never earned it.

Our proprietary treatments, patented reinforcement, and ISO 9001-certified process unlock the material’s full lifespan. We exist to change that standard, permanently.

Lighter, longer-lived, lower-carbon, and more cost-effective

The reputation timber earned came from poor workmanship, not the material. Built to our standard, it outperforms steel and concrete on the things that actually decide a project.

Costs less

More cost-effective than a comparable steel or concrete structure: in materials, in the lighter foundations it allows, and in field time.

Outlasts the alternatives

Concrete manages 50–70 years. Built and maintained right, timber serves 100+: one build instead of two.

A fraction of the weight

Light enough to reuse existing piles and foundations, as on the Roger Bacon Bridge. Impossible with the mass of steel or concrete.

Stores carbon

The only structural material that grows, storing carbon for the life of the structure, a fraction of the embodied emissions of steel or concrete.
